About Sol-Up
Sol-Up was founded in 2009 by Frank Rieger, a German engineer who came to America with years of solar experience. It was with pure enthusiasm that Mr. Rieger came to Las Vegas, Nevada to pioneer a company based upon principles of engineering and to differentiate Sol-Up from the area’s sales-based solar power competitors. He recognized the need for this philosophy and started Sol-Up on a bootstrap budget and an abundance of enthusiasm.

Since 2015, Sol-Up began installing heterojunction technology (HJT) from various manufacturers due to HJT’s superior efficiency and performance under extreme heat conditions. Our new Pinnacle Partnership with Meyer Burger, the worldwide leader in HJT technology with a pedigree of Swiss engineering, completes the circle of Sol-Up’s commitment to its engineering roots. Meyer Burger will soon begin producing solar modules in Goodyear, Arizona, making them the only domestic producer of the entire solar module process from cells to frames.
Sol-Up is committed to making the western United States the solar capital of the world and envisions the City of Lights being run off clean solar energy one roof-top at a time. This would be a magnificent example to all other areas of the world.
