Sol-Up was founded in 2009 by Frank Rieger, a German engineer who came to America with years of solar experience. It was with pure enthusiasm that Mr. Rieger came to Las Vegas, Nevada to pioneer a company based upon principles of engineering and to differentiate Sol-Up from the area’s sales-based solar power competitors. He recognized the need for this philosophy and started Sol-Up on a bootstrap budget and an abundance of enthusiasm.

From its inception, Sol-Up has only partnered with top-tier companies such as Tesla, Span, Panasonic, Enphase, SolarEdge and now Meyer Burger. This translates to the installation of state of the art, high performing systems, with industry best warranties.
Frank’s perspective of treating the customer, supplier, and employee with equality yields enhanced retention, dedication, and purpose. Such long-term partnerships are so rare in today’s business landscape. Through team member loyalty, we have Energy Consultants, engineers, and installers that have been with Sol-Up for almost a decade, applying years of experience to every project. Sol-Up is an all-employee company with no third-party sales or installation.
Since 2015, Sol-Up began installing heterojunction technology (HJT) from various manufacturers due to HJT’s superior efficiency and performance under extreme heat conditions. Our new Pinnacle Partnership with Meyer Burger, the worldwide leader in HJT technology with a pedigree of Swiss engineering, completes the circle of Sol-Up’s commitment to its engineering roots. Meyer Burger will soon begin producing solar modules in Goodyear, Arizona, making them the only domestic producer of the entire solar module process from cells to frames.
Sol-Up is committed to making the western United States the solar capital of the world and envisions the City of Lights being run off clean solar energy one roof-top at a time. This would be a magnificent example to all other areas of the world.
Solar power is by far the safest and most environmentally friendly power generation in the world. Solar power does not create toxic by-products when generating power. It does not require the environment to be damaged to attain. It does not need to be imported. Because solar power is so beneficial to people and the environment, Sol-Up will continue to strive to make the western United States a solar power generated community.
But it doesn’t stop there! Sol-Up also partners with other top-tier companies to bring you full service solar systems. Whether it’s ProVia Energy Efficient Windows and Doors, Tesla
Powerwall battery storage, Span Smart Panels or Amana HVAC, Sol-Up can design you an amazingly efficient and grid-free energy system. Get with an Energy Consultant at Sol-Up today and see how you can become liberated from Big Power (aka power companies).
